Enjoying Your Golf Tour
For a serious golfer, a golf tour can be the most exciting and enjoyable experience of their life. A tremendous number of golfers, however, never have the opportunity to enjoy traveling the country while playing their
favorite sport. They must live this thrill vicariously watching others participate.
One of the primary ways for a player to do this is through today’s electronic technology. Some of these are as simple as sitting down in front of the television and watching golfers as they play their competition. Another way is that you can get your favorite tournaments with your favorite players on a DVD or a golfing simulator in your own home.
If money is no object to you why not just go hog wild and spend thousands of dollars and follow the pro's around the world as they play the game. On these trips you may even be able to become friends with your favorite golfers. However, you should be aware, because of their celebrity status, security at the course may not allow you to get within speaking distance, much less hand shaking distance. If you are the persistent sought the player may well recognize you and acknowledge your faithfulness to him or her.
Golf tours can be made up of several types of players. First, of course, is the professional player and only qualified pro’s are allowed to participate. Second you will find the armature players. These players are not allowed to play in tournaments where they would be eligible for prize money. In addition to the above tournaments you have a professional/armature game that is a combination of the pros and armature. These tournaments are for the young golfer looking to determine if they are capable of taking their game up to the pro level.
One of the really enjoyable tournaments is the one that is called “Duffer’s Golf Game”. The players obviously are in it for the pure enjoyment of the game. One of the wonderful things about this tournament is that you can really enjoy the antics of the duffers but also watch some really good golfers go head to head.
No matter which golf tour you enjoy in today’s environment you can participate or watch year round.
